A Desperate Reprimand

In Nepal, we have got uncountable problems. Anyone could point out the problems facing in the country. The delay in constitution making process has become a story from years. The Medias are still shooting the daily episodes of “Constituent Assembly” which has got 601 different characters running to nowhere.  Some of the main characters are making a trip to resorts passing the way of ministry of foreign affairs. They might feel proud of themselves watching those queues and the garbage at the road side. The frustrating situation of the airport, problems on the youth management has become the normal problem. Decentralization of power throughout the country doesn't seems effective. Entrepreneurs and private companies seems to be lacking the facilitation from the government. People have done research of different model of other countries regarding governance style, economic model etc. But implementing those methods has became the problem as there is no proper platform for the application. On that note, let’s forget about the experiment of those models practically.

Now, the biggest unidentified mystery of the uneven development and political instability might be the poor handling of the power given to the politicians. The so called politicians may have forgot their bearings. Not only them, we also have some sort of problems within us because we didn't choose the right one . For instance, medias are covering almost two third of the space for the stories that lacks specific results every day. We complain to the government which itself is confused and need the proper guidance by some third organization.

There are lots of people at present in our country who have an idea to shape the nation in a sustainable manner. After one decade, some of the thinkers among youths might be running the country. This process is quite obvious in every society inside a boundary, or a country. But, the interrogative statement is what makes the ideas disappear after few years? The peoples with potentialities are being polluted from their young age with corruption. Ultimately they become confused towards the possibility of positive output. Sometimes, the only education that needed to be imparted to young people is moral education and other education in the second place.

Pseudo Democracy

The rights and equality of peoples and development of every sector is the main priority of governing body of any country. To ensure the rights of people and to discard autocracy by abolishing tyranny, many countries in the world had gone through their own level of struggle. In some countries the people’s voice was portrayed in the law and rule of law was efficient whereas in some countries, political chaos and dispute was the outcome. But most of the countries now are practicing democracy. The people’s agendas, duties are represented in the law of the respective countries. Nepal is practicing the federal republic democracy for the first time in our history. Recently, the promulgation of the constitution in Nepal by more than two third constitution assembly members shows the mutual understanding between the parties (though they have prioritized various agendas) to end the transition phase of the country followed by the effect of recent big earthquake. In that sense, the move taken to...

"Exploring Beliefs Amidst Chaos" A book review.

Review By Pratima Gurung Book: Exploring Beliefs Amidst Chaos Author: Bikash Bhandari Genre: Philosophy, Personal Development, Self- help. Exploring Beliefs Amidst Chaos is a philosophical and self-help exploration of how belief systems shape our experience in an age marked by uncertainty, distraction, and rapid change. The book inspires readers to think for themselves instead of blindly following others’ beliefs. The book is neither deeply academic nor strictly theological. Instead, it presents a balanced mixture of self-discovery, personal meaning, philosophical ideas, practical reflection, and spiritual grounding without being confined to a rigid religious framework. This makes the book accessible to a wide range of readers. One of the most interesting ideas in the book is the definition of belief as a “living inquiry”—a continuous process of questioning and refinement. Through this perspective, the book shows how beliefs can support individuals in finding clarity, purpose, and inne...
